Jim Slater

Director

James G. Slater is a Director of the Company. Jim is a seasoned advertising and sales professional with over 17 years of experience as Advertising Manager at the Los Angeles Business Journal. In this role, he has played a key part in growing client ad budgets, expanding advertising verticals, and developing new product opportunities. His expertise spans traditional and digital advertising, business development, and integrated marketing strategies.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Jim attended the University of Utah graduating with a degree in Marketing. From there, he became involved in movies and their distribution working for various large and medium sized motion picture production companies, including Golan Globus which was famous for the Jean-Claude Van Damme movies and many others. In such positions Jim has managed sales divisions of up to 40 people and has oversaw sales divisions exceeding $200 million. He has extensive experience working with major corporations, ad agencies, and C-level executives. His career also includes serving as Director of Business Development for a leading product placement agency.

Jim is also extremely knowledgeable and proficient in multiple sales and marketing platforms. His deep industry knowledge and strategic approach to marketing in the advertising and media landscape make him a valuable asset to the Company.
